Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Mark Sanchez will start against the Detroit Lions on Thursday, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Starting quarterback Sam Bradford sustained a concussion and a sprained left AC joint in Philadelphia’s Week 10 loss to the Miami Dolphins. Though he has passed the NFL’s concussion protocol, the shoulder is still bothering him, Schefter reports.

In Bradford’s absence, Sanchez has started one game: a 17–45 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the loss, Sanchez completed 26 of 41 passes for 261 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions.

As of last week, Bradford was expected to miss two games with the injuries, which would put him back under center next week against the New England Patriots.

The Eagles (4–6) and Lions (3–7) will kick off at 12:30 p.m. ET Thursday.
