The New York Giants and New York Jets will meet at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. in a game that could have playoff implications for both teams.

The Jets were led by quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who threw four touchdown passes, in the 38–20 victory over the Miami Dolphins to snap a two-game losing streak. Fitzpatrick connected with Brandon Marshall for two of those touchdowns. Fitzpatrick finished the day 22 for 37 with 277 yards.

The Giants dropped a chance to move up in the NFC East standings by losing 20–14 to the Washington Redskins on the road. Quarterback Eli Manning was intercepted three times, and completed 26 of 51 passes for 321 yards. Receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had nine catches for 142 yards.
