Browns quarterback Josh McCown was injured during Monday night’s game against the Ravens and replaced by Austin Davis.

Browns quarterback Josh McCown was injured during Monday night’s game against the Ravens and replaced by Austin Davis. The team said McCown hurt his shoulder was doubtful to return.

McCown was injured after taking a couple of big hits and attempted to remain in the game but jogged off to the locker room midway through the fourth quarter.

Davis spent most of the season as the third-string quarterback but was promoted to the backup after Johnny Manziel was relegated to the third-string role. 

Davis started eight games for the Rams last season, going 3–5 while completing 63.4% of his passes for 2,001 yards, 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
