Report: Ryan Tannehill played after finding blood in urine last week
Miami Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill played the entire game during Sunday’s 18–12 loss to the Indianapolis Colts despite finding blood in his urine last week, reports Adam Beasley of the Miami Herald.
The cause of the blood and the severity of the situation is unknown, according to the report. Tannehill was sacked six times during the Dolphins’ loss, which dropped the team to 5–10. Teammates said at times during the game Tannehill could hardly catch his breath after being hit.
Tannehill started his 63rd consecutive game Sunday. He has started every game for the Dolphins since being selected in the first round of the 2012 NFL draft, despite being the most-sacked quarterback in the league during that time.

Tannehill has completed 61.2% of his passes with 22 touchdowns and 12 interceptions this season. His 87.3 passer rating is more than five points lower than his 92.8 mark from last season.
