Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is out for his team’s Week 17 matchup against the Tennessee Titans, head coach Chuck Pagano told reporters Wednesday.

Luck, who returned to practice earlier this month for the first time since Nov. 6., will miss his seventh straight game as he recovers from a lacerated kidney.

Due to the fact that backup quarterbacks Matt Hasselbeck and Charlie Whitehurst were injured in last Sunday’s win against the Miami Dolphins, Pagano will now have to choose between recently signed signal callers Ryan Lindley, Josh Freeman and Stephen Morris, who have been on the team’s roster for a combined nine days.

In seven games this season, Luck completed 55.3% of his passes, throwing for 1,881 yards, 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
