Giants' Brown and Rodgers-Cromartie going to Pro Bowl
The Giants announced the honors on Tuesday, saying Brown and Rodgers-Cromartie were replacing a pair of injured New England Patriots.
Rodgers-Cromartie, who had touchdown returns on a fumble recovery and an interception this season, is the first Giants cornerback to play in the Pro Bowl since Mark Haynes in 1984. It will be his second Pro Bowl.
Brown is the Giants' first Pro Bowl kicker chosen since John Carney in 2008. It is his first Pro Bowl in a 13-year career.
Brown scored a career-high 134 points, making 30 of 32 field goal attempts, a franchise-record 93.8 percent.
