On The Clock podcast: Previewing the NFL combine

On this week’s episode of the On The Clock podcast, host Chris Burke and guest Ben Fennell break down the players and position groups they are most excited to watch at the upcoming NFL combine.

Draft season is here, and for amateur scouts and forward-thinking NFL fans alike, it’s time to study up with the On the Clock NFL Draft Podcast with Chris Burke, a weekly look at the prospects of the 2016 draft and the NFL teams most in need of their services.

We’re in the heart of draft season, with the NFL combine starting next week, and this episode previews just that. Burke brings on guest Ben Fennell—a producer for NFL Network and ESPN, and a video editor for the Philadelphia Eagles—and the two preview the combine and talk about intriguing prospects who could set themselves apart with huge weeks both on the field and in the interviews (Roger Lewis? Geronimo Allison? Will Fuller?). Burke continues on with his weekly positional rankings, presenting listeners with his top five interior linebacker prospects, and we wrap up the podcast with additional talk about which players we’re most excited to see perform down in Indianapolis (Christian Hackenberg? All of the tight ends?).

If you missed last week’s episode, go back and listen to Burke and Eric Galko of Optimum Scouting go deep on the top quarterback prospects in the draft—a must-listen ahead of the combine.
