Most of the focus across the NFL has shifted to next month's draft, but there are still some notable free agents available on the open market. The Cincinnati Bengals made use of that availability on Wednesday, signing wide receiver Brandon LaFell.

• Wide receiver Percy Harvin “definitely” plans to play in 2016 after contemplating retirement, reports Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio. Florio also reports that the Buffalo Bills are interested in re-signing Harvin.

• Former New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin will not have any role with the team this season, he told Mike Francesa and Chris Russo during their radio show on Wednesday night.
