Laremy Tunsil was selected with the No. 13 pick in the first round of the NFL draft by the Miami Dolphins.
The Ole Miss product was projected to be selected early on in Thursday’s draft before a controversial video tweet appeared on his Twitter account. The undated video showed him smoking out of a bong. Two tackles, Ronnie Stanley and Jack Conklin, were selected at Nos. 6 and 8. Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network reports the Ravens, who chose Stanley, dropped Tunsil off their board completely following the video’s posting.
“He doesn’t deny it. He owned it. But certainly it was not recent,” Ole Miss head coach Hugh Freeze told ESPN.
