Browns running back Isaiah Crowell apologized Monday for posting a photo of an officer getting his throat slit on social media.

Crowell posted the illustration to his Instagram account, captioning the post, “Mood: They give polices all types of weapons and they continuously choose to kill us…#Weak.”

The image, which is very graphic, portrayed a masked man holding a knife to an officer’s throat, with blood coming out. You can view the image (Warning: Very graphic content) here. Crowell posted the image after the killings of two black men last week, but before the killings of five officers in Dallas last Thursday, reports Cleveland.com.

Crowell soon deleted the photo, and then posted this apology:

Crowell has played two seasons in the NFL with the Browns. He led the team in rushing last season with 706 yards.

Neither the NFL nor the Browns have commented on the matter.
