Video evidence of Jacksonville Jaguars running back Denard Robinson driving his car into a retention pond has been obtained by First Coast News.

Police found Robinson asleep at the wheel of the sinking car earlier this month. Robinson was in the car with a woman, who was also asleep. Neither Robinson nor the woman were injured.

The videos show Robinson’s car slowly drifting toward the pond.

Officers had to knock on the windows of the car in order to wake Robinson and the woman, who appeared to be very disoriented.

According to police reports, the front side of Robinson’s Chevy Impala was submerged in water when officers arrived at the scene. The running back was not charged with DUI because police concluded that he was not impaired at the time of the accident.

Following the accident, Robinson acknowledged what had happened on Twitter.

Robinson, 25, was selected in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL draft. In three seasons with the Jaguars, he has rushed for 914 yards with five touchdowns in 42 games.
