Randy Moss says he could catch between nine and 13 TDs if he returned to NFL
Former NFL wide receiver and current ESPN analyst Randy Moss told Sports Illustrated's Jonathan Jones that if he still played football today he probably catch between nine and 13 touchdowns.
Moss, who will turn 40 in February, last played in 2012 with the San Francisco 49ers, concluding a 16-year career.
"Where I’m at closing on 40 years old,” Moss told SI.com. “I think being able to use me inside the 40 yard line for my height, still my skillset, still have quickness, I think my speed has left a little bit. But my skillset, 16 games, I’d say anywhere between nine to 12 or 13 touchdowns. Somewhere in there.”
Since 1970, only five players age 35 or older have caught nine or more touchdowns in a season.

Moss, who has no plans to return to the NFL, finished his career with 982 catches for 15,292 yards and 156 touchdowns. He was a six-time Pro Bowler, named first team All-Pro four times and will be eligible for Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2018.
