Percy Harvin is coming out of retirement.

The wideout, who last played for Buffalo in 2015, is rejoining the Bills, his agent said on Monday. He had previously walked away from the game at age 27 after multiple injuries landed him on injured reserve last November.

For the Bills, Harvin may represent some hope in a passing game that’s been devastated by the loss of Sammy Watkins, who is weeks away from a return.

Here’s Sports Illustrated’s Michael Beller on what Harvin's return means for fantasy:

The fantasy community takes notice any time a new player joins the ranks this late in the season. That goes doubly for a player like Harvin, an explosive athlete who has had some success in his career and once looked like he'd be a fantasy mainstay for years to come. Let's be realistic, though. Harvin hasn't had a fantasy-relevant season since 2012, and even then he was the No. 43 wide receiver. From 2013 through 2015, he had 71 receptions, 718 receiving yards, 233 rushing yards and three total touchdowns in 19 games. He hasn't played a game in more than a year, and it's not like he spent this season on a practice squad. Until Tuesday, he was retired. He was, and still is, irrelevant in the fantasy football world.

Harvin, as mentioned above, totaled nearly 1,000 total yards on offense from 2013 to '15. It remains to be seen how he’ll factor into Buffalo’s offense. Marquise Goodwin and Robert Woods are still the clear No. 1 and 2 in the absence of Watkins.

Brandon Tate has been returning quite well, too, averaging over 10 yards on punt returns and 23 on kicks. The Bills play at Seattle on Monday Night Football before a Week 10 bye.
