ALLEN PARK, Mich. (AP) The Detroit Lions have signed running back Joique Bell, bringing the Michigan native back for another stint with the franchise in the Motor City.

Bell played 60 games for the Lions from 2012-15. He rushed for 860 yards and seven touchdowns during the 2014 season.

The Lions also announced Tuesday that they have signed cornerback Asa Jackson, and Detroit put defensive end Armonty Bryant (knee) and cornerback Quandre Diggs (pectoral) on injured reserve. The Lions put tight end Brandon Pettigrew on the reserve/non-football injury list.

Detroit acquired Jackson from Baltimore's practice squad.

Bell played four games for the Chicago Bears this season before being released Oct. 24.
