Seahawks’ Clark sends intimidating tweet to writer in response to domestic violence article
Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark sent what appeared to be a menacing tweet on Tuesday to a writer who wrote in 2015 about his domestic violence history.
Clark tweeted at Bleacher Report’s Natalie Weiner, then deleted his message, which was screencapped.
“People like you don’t have long careers in your field. I have a job for you cleaning my fish tank when that lil job is ova,” Clark wrote.
His tweet appeared to come in reference to an old blog post that Weiner recently re-shared on Twitter, which criticized the Seahawks for drafting him given his transgressions and detailed an investigation into the former Michigan player, who was arrested in November 2014 after an incident involving his then-girlfriend.
Clark offered an ambiguous apology later Tuesday via Twitter.
Clark also “liked” several responses to the apology.
The Seahawks have yet to issue a response.
