Odell Beckham Jr. Still Seeking $20 Million Salary, per Report

After a year away from the NFL while rehabbing a torn ACL, Odell Beckham Jr. evidently has no doubt about his worth. The free agent wide receiver is looking for a new deal that would pay him $20 million annually, according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio

Beckham worked out for several NFL teams in Arizona on Friday and several organizations have began talks with him, per NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero. However, Pelissero also reported that Beckham has not made any financial demands.

The last time NFL fans saw Beckham on the field was Super Bowl LVI, when he was having an incredible game until he suffered the devastating ACL injury. He was on pace to possibly be named the game’s MVP, but instead he celebrated the win on crutches and entered free agency with questions about when he could play again.

Rumors swirled last season linking him to the Bills, Giants or Cowboys in time for a playoff run, but he never did sign a contract. It’s unclear whether he was even able to play.

Beckham, 30, was once one of the most electrifying wideouts in the sport, but now he has to prove a lot of doubters wrong this upcoming season. It remains to be seen which teams will be interested in him and what kind of contract he will get.
