Bengals QB Joe Burrow Out for Season, Team Announces
Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is out for the season with a torn ligament, according to Cincinnati coach Zac Taylor.
The announcement comes after Burrow underwent an MRI on Friday morning. Burrow left the Bengals’ Thursday night loss to the Ravens in the second quarter, appearing to be in pain after throwing a touchdown pass to running back Joe Mixon. Burrow was ruled out after halftime.
Cincinnati fell to Baltimore, 34–20, after Jake Browning replaced Burrow.

After the game, Taylor said that the injury appeared to be sprained wrist. The QB’s wrist was a topic of conversation entering Thursday night’s game.
Prior to kickoff, Burrow was spotted wearing a wrist brace while leaving the team bus, despite the fact that he was not listed on the injury report.
On Friday morning, multiple outlets reported that the NFL is investigating the team for failing to list Burrow on the injury report. The Bengals can be punished with fines or the loss of draft picks if the league finds that they violated team injury report policy, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Bengals (5–5) are back in action Nov. 26 at home against the Steelers (6–3).
