NFL Fans Roasted Chargers WR Quentin Johnston for Dropping Likely Game-Winning Pass

In this story:
The Chargers lost yet another close game on Sunday, falling to the Packers, 23–20, at Lambeau Field.
Los Angeles might have been able to win the game in the final minute but rookie wide receiver Quentin Johnston dropped a Justin Herbert pass that he could have taken in for a touchdown if he had caught it. At the very least, a catch would have set up a field goal chance for the Chargers.
Instead, the ball somehow went through Johnston’s hands, which left fans in utter disbelief. Los Angeles, meanwhile, fell to a disappointing 4–6 on the season.

Ouch.
NFL fans roasted him:
Game winning drive wasted because QJ forgot how to catch a ball. I hate this team. Herbert deserves better https://t.co/vv794gTuP0

What is Justin Herbert supposed to do with pass catchers like this? An embarrassing display today from everyone on the #chargers who isn’t Herbert. https://t.co/x4dSDTx8ml

This is inexplicably bad. That's the game winning touchdown for any other WR in his draft https://t.co/Q4sPy3zyrO

I’m in a 15 team league and he’s a free agent for a reason. Unfortunate too cause the kid has talent https://t.co/miln3QfKLk

Addison or Flowers & that’s a TD. What a waste of a 1st round pick https://t.co/vv794gTuP0
