Ravens WR Zay Flowers Had a Brilliant TD Celebration, but Lamar Jackson Wasn’t a Fan

Ravens wide receiver Zay Flowers had a bit on Sunday after scoring the first touchdown of Week 12’s game against the Chargers.

After driving the length of the field, quarterback Lamar Jackson capped things off by throwing a perfect ball to Flowers in the end zone, giving the Ravens an early 7–3 lead.

To celebrate, Flowers had some teammates help him out by lining up behind him. The rookie receiver then tossed the ball backward over his head—like a bouquet of flowers at a wedding—leaving his teammates to fight for the prize and ultimately finish with a proposal.

As far as touchdown celebrations go, it was pretty elaborate.

Fans on social media loved the celebration.

But one person was decidedly not a fan of Flowers’s celebration: quarterback Lamar Jackson.

After the play, cameras caught Flowers and Jackson on the sideline. Flowers appeared to be explaining his celebration to Jackson, and Jackson rolled his eyes with a look of “Come on, man.”

Fans loved this interaction as well.

While Jackson might not be a fan of the celebration, he might want to get used to them, as the rookie Flowers has plenty more touchdowns ahead of him.
