Ravens TE Mark Andrews Expected to Play vs. Chiefs Following Full Practice Participation

Mark Andrews hasn’t played since mid-November, but it seems like that will end this week.

The Baltimore Ravens tight end was a full participant in practice on Wednesday, and as long as he gets through the week, the team expects that he will play in the AFC championship game, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.

Andrews suffered a cracked fibula and ligament damage in a game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 16, which effectively ended his regular season. The 28-year-old had surgery to repair the injury, and has rehabbed over the past two months in preparation for a return in the playoffs.

Ravens TE Mark Andrews is expected to play in the AFC championship game vs. the Kansas City Chiefs.

Despite playing in just 10 games this year, Andrews still recorded 45 catches for 544 yards and six touchdowns. The sixth-year tight end established himself as one of Lamar Jackson’s primary targets, making three Pro Bowls and an All-Pro team between 2019 and ’22.

The Ravens are entering the AFC championship game as a relatively healthy team, as they only had six players on Wednesday’s injury report. Getting back Andrews would be a boost to the already dominant Baltimore offense.
