Alabama DB Delivers Heartfelt Message to Mom During NFL Combine Broadcast

Alabama defensive back Terrion Arnold took advantage of his moment in the spotlight Friday at the NFL scouting combine.

During an interview on NFL Network’s broadcast in Indianapolis, Arnold grabbed the microphone and spoke directly to his mother, Tamala.

“Mom, if you’re watching this right now, your son just wants to say how proud he is of you. You had me at a young age, and you overcame a lot of adversity. People were doubting you, people were counting you out.

“And honestly Mom, as I always tell you, you raised a star,” Arnold said before telling the camera operator to zoom in even closer.

“I just want to say Tamala Arnold, I love you. I’m right here, the whole world is watching. And I’m blessed to have you as a mom. Like I said, you overcame a lot. With that being said, I’m going to continue to keep shining, just how you raised me to be.”

Arnold, who tallied five interceptions over 14 games for the Crimson Tide in 2023, ran the 40-yard dash in 4.5 seconds and notched a 37” vertical jump at the scouting combine.

The Alabama product is projected to be selected in the first round of the upcoming 2024 NFL draft.

Whenever his name is called in April, you can bet his mother Tamala will be proudly watching.
