We are officially kicked off between your San Francisco 49ers (4-0) and division rival Los Angeles Rams (3-2). 49ers are missing key players all over, so it will be interesting to see how they adjust.

1st Quarter

15:00 - 49ers offense goes no where on the opening drive, which is ended by a sack from who else other than Aaron Donald . He beat Justin Skule easily and now it is the defense's turn to try their luck

9:17 - Rams run a methodical drive on the 49ers defense and allow their first rushing touchdown of the season. Robert Woods was the runner on the end around play.

3:39 - San Francisco answers back with a methodical drive of their own. Tevin Coleman runs it for the score to tie the game up. Kyle Shanahan is back in his bag again.

End of the first quarter has both teams tied in what was a very quick quarter. Both offenses are driving, which is making the clock run. The 49ers defense made a good turnaround on their second series, but will need to maintain that heading into the second quarter.

2nd Quarter

12:35 - Jimmy Garoppolo is intercepted in the endzone by Marcus Peters. Kyle Shanahan getting too cute instead of running the ball after calling another clinical drive. Garoppolo also should not have thrown that. Rams ball at their 20 yard line.

Costly interception by Garoppolo ends a promising drive in the endzone.

3:14 - Stuffed! Rams go for it on fourth down at the one yard line to score and the 49ers defense holds them. 49ers ball at their own one yard line.

0:03 - Robbie Gould misses to the right to put the 49ers up 10-7. A lot of tug-and-pull in this game.

End of the first half with the score tied. The 49ers have left a lot of points on the bored with the turnover in the endzone and the missed field goal by Robbie Gould. Los Angeles will get the ball to start the second half.

Kyle Shanahan has been calling a solid game, but he just needs to be simplistic at the goal line. It'll be interesting to see how both teams adjust and attack to come back out.

3rd Quarter

14:51 - Fumble! Rams fumble the football on their very first offensive play to open the second half. 49ers now have a short field to get in the endzone.

12:50 - Jimmy Garoppolo scores on QB sneak. 49ers make the Rams pay for turning the ball over to give the 49ers their first lead of the game.

11:16 - 49ers get a lucky break on punt return. Originally ruled as fumble of the 49ers gets wiped out due to a penalty committed by the Rams.

4:58 -Kyle Shanahan is besting Sean McVay as the better play-caller. 49ers go up to 17 with a Robbie Gould field goal. However, Tevin Coleman had an easy touchdown prior if he completes the catch.

3:41 - Jared Goff and the Rams offense have not done a single thing. At this point in the game, Goff has only 72 passing yards. The defense of San Francisco is just smothering.

End of third quarter. The entire quarter was dominated by the 49ers who put up 10 points and held the Rams to a goose egg. One more quarter to go for the 49ers to pull of this win.

4th Quarter

12:03 - Robbie Gould with another field goal to increase the 49ers lead. This game is inching closer to it being over for the Rams.

8:36 - Fumble! Jimmy Garoppolo has the ball stripped and the Rams recover it with a prime opportunity to get back into the game.

5:41 - Dee Ford with a strip sack that is recovered by the Rams.
