The San Francisco 49ers absolutely demolished the Cleveland Browns on Monday night and their start running backs are huge reason why. Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman stole the show with their phenomenal running that the defense of the Browns could not stop. This performance is a great sign for fantasy football owners who have Breida and especially Coleman.

Coleman's value when he returned from injury was an unclear one because of how well the 49ers were running the ball without him. It was also a mystery as to how much he would be used in case Kyle Shanahan wanted to take it easy on him in his return. Well we got our answer on Monday night.

Even though the running backs of the 49ers split their playing time with each other, Matt Breida and Tevin Coleman are flex worthy starters. Each of them will always have a shot at ripping off a run for a big run, potentially leading to a touchdown. With the way the San Francisco 49ers offensive line has been run blocking, both of these running backs will put up good numbers even in limited action.

There is also their pass catching ability that makes them even more valuable. Versatile running backs are huge in fantasy football, especially if you are in a PPR league. Breida and Coleman will look to replicate last weeks performance against the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday. They very well can have a similar output as the Rams defense has been a shell of themselves from last season.

Given the creative mind of Kyle Shanahan, he can easily devise ways to get these two the ball in chunks. The Seattle Seahawks gave the 49ers a blueprint on how to attack the Rams in the run game. Shanahan will be sure to make note on some of their successful runs to continue to rely on Breida and Coleman.

These two running backs aren't just flex worthy for this Sunday, they're worthy of it for the next few weeks. Following Sunday's game, the 49ers will take on the Redskins, Panthers and Cardinals. That can be production heaven for these running backs, especially for Matt Breida who is currently averaging 6.5 yards per carry.

Every run he takes he gets a solid gain. There is no way that Shanahan isn't going to feed him a healthy serving. And when it comes to Coleman, he is barely scratching the surface. Both of these players will feast over the course of the next three-to-four games, so consider them heavily as your flex play starters.
