The 49ers have quite the lengthy injury report going into Jacksonville.

Headlining the report is Trent Williams and Javon Hargrave who are questionable. Williams has been out of action since injuring his ankle against the Browns. As for Hargrave, his "knee acted up yesterday" during practice.

I wouldn't be too concerned with Hargrave. It's likely just a minor tweak, so the 49ers are being careful and have to list him on the injury report.

Williams, however, is another story. He is more of a game time decision. The 49ers will wait as long as they can to give him a chance to make his return. He missed Wednesday's practice, but was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday.

“I think he's real questionable to be playing," said Kyle Shanahan. "That's what my eyes see too... We got tomorrow. Tomorrow is Saturday. If it's no tomorrow, then we'll wait until game time.”

Typically when a starter gets two practices in they end up playing in the upcoming game. Still, it's been tricky with Williams' ankle injury. The recovery took longer than the 49ers initially expected and he's got a lot of wear and tear on his ankle too. It might be best for the 49ers to hold Williams another game.

Backup left tackle Jaylon Moore has been doing a fine job there. If he was a liability, then I would advocate for him to start. But really, they have been fine at left tackle. Should Williams miss the game against the Jaguars, then there will be no cause for panic.

However, the 49ers could be without their entire starting left side as left guard Aaron Banks (toe) has been ruled out. Pass rusher Drake Jackson (knee) has also been ruled out.
