Does a trade for Jalen Ramsey become more enticing with the latest injury to Ahekllo Witherspoon?

Arguably the most improved player for the San Francisco 49ers has been cornerback Ahekllo Witherspoon. He has easily been a pivotal player on the defense that has led to such a dominant three game stretch. Now the 49ers will have to make due without him for a month.
Witherspoon was carted off in yesterdays 24-20 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers with a foot injury. Kyle Shanahan revealed today in his press conference that Witherspoon was diagnosed with a foot sprain. The bye week could not have come at a more perfect time.
However, the 49ers will miss Witherspoon's presence as he and Richard Sherman have been one of the top pair of cornerbacks through three games. The games he will miss will be against the Browns, Rams and Redskins. It isn't a difficult stretch of games, but the matchup with Rams is a huge one.
Now the question remains, who will fill in while Witherspoon is on the mend? Shanahan mentioned that Emmanuel Mosley is the first man in line, though there will be others being looked at as well. Jason Verrett is someone who could slide in, but after seeing how fared in a few snaps I doubt the 49ers trust him right now. There is, however, someone out there who the 49ers can target in a trade.
Jacksonville Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey is still a potential trade target for teams. With the injury to Ahkello Witherspoon, does a trade for Ramsey become more enticing?
#49ers CB Ahkello Witherspoon has a foot sprain. Need another opinion from a foot specialist. Out at least a month.

I know the knee jerk reaction is to immediately think of Ramsey over any of the current corners on the roster. So yes, it does become more enticing to trade for him. However, I would still back away from a trade for him, especially if it just to replace Witherspoon. To do so would be such an emotional decision, which makes for irrational decisions.
A trade for Ramsey would essentially be kissing DeForest Buckner goodbye. Not to mention Arik Armstead is poised for a big contract. The 49ers need to do everything they can to keep their pass rushers because it is clearly a huge reason as to why the secondary has played well. Trading for Ramsey would just be hypocritical because we have spent so much time talking about the lack of a pass rusher. And now that the 49ers have a great one, suddenly the desire for Ramsey arises.
This is always an issue with big name players being available. It is easy to get sucked into wanting them, which I understand because I love Jalen Ramsey. Watching him play is exciting and he would easily elevate any defense. But the 49ers do not need him. I understand that the cap can be manipulated, but with so many players on the cusp of big contracts, the 49ers can only getaway with so much. A trade for Ramsey is indeed more enticing, but it is one that the 49ers do not need to make.
