For the second year in a row, the NFL Player's Association has released their report cards for all 32 teams.

When they debut it last year, the San Francisco 49ers received impressive grades from it. And this year, that remains to be the same as the 49ers are ranked highly on the NFLPA team report cards. The 49ers ranked as the sixth best team on the report cards, which is a one spot improvement from being the seventh best last year.

This means that the 49ers are known for treating their players and giving their players the best work environment. How the NFLPA structures their grading system is they break it down by categories. When they debut it last year they only had eight categories. This year they bumped it up by three to give them 11 to grade from.

Below is the overview from the NFLPA on their grades for the 49ers.

The 49ers finish the year ranked 6th overall. The positives for the team start at the top of the organization, with the players giving high marks to the club ownership group and CEO Jed York along with head coach Kyle Shanahan. Responding players also highly ranked the treatment of families and the food program.

The one area that survey respondents believe needs to be prioritized going forward is the training room. The room itself is small with a limited number of treatment tables. Also, the hot/cold tubs are very small, which limits the players’ ability to comfortably use them to either warm up or recover.

Below is how the breakdown of the grades went for the 49ers.

Food/cafeteria: A-

Nutritionist/dietician: B+

Locker room: B+

Training room: C

Training staff: B-
