With the New England Patriots falling to the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night football, the San Francisco 49ers are the only undefeated team.

And then there was one. The San Francisco 49ers are now the last standing undefeated team in the NFL at 8-0. It is all thanks to the valiant effort of the Baltimore Ravens who completely outperformed the New England Patriots to hand them their first loss of the season.

This should start to put things in perspective a bit more about how elite the 49ers have been this season. It is never easy to remain undefeated in this league or rip off an eight game winning streak like the Niners have this season. It should not matter who they have faced because the fact that they are 8-0 is already proof to their legitimacy.

As great as it is being the only undefeated team left in the NFL, it is only going to get harder for the 49ers. They are going to become "the hunted" in the eyes of lesser teams with hopes to ruin their flawless record.

It all starts in eight days on Monday night when the 49ers host the 6-2 Seattle Seahawks at Levi's Stadium. That is a game that the 49ers are sure to be tested and the most difficult matchup yet. Against the Arizona Cardinals last week, the 49ers' defense was gashed tremendously.

The Cardinals put out a blueprint on how to attack them and it can be replicated by the Seahawks with Russell Wilson, who is the clear cut leader for MVP this season. A win against them will just further cement the idea that this is the 49ers year to win it all.
