The Good and Not So Good From Day 11 of Chicago Bears Training Camp

In this story:
The Chicago Bears held their "Varsity Bears" event on Monday and also had their 11th practice of training camp during it.
But the Bears didn't hold a full practice and instead just had a walk-through before they hold a scrimmage on Tuesday that will feature full pads and hitting, head coach Ben Johnson said.
Because it was just a walkthrough, there wasn't a ton to glean off the session. Here's the most notable things to come out of the practice based on beat writer observations.
Good: Cam Lewis takes part

Despite leaving a recent practice on a cart, Lewis was taking part in the walk-through on Monday, according to CHGO Bears' Adam Hoge.
While we still don't know how much, if any time he's going to miss, the fact that Lewis was active in the walk-through suggests he doesn't have a serious injury.
Lewis was competing for the slot cornerback job earlier in camp but has now been switched to safety full time in the wake of the injury to Coby Bryant.
Good: Positive news on Burden, Thomas

Adam Hoge also reported that Zavion Thomas, who left Sunday's practice early with an injury, "doesn't appear to have much of a limp at all," which is a strong sign he doesn't have a significant injury. Thomas did not take part in the walk-through, though.
In other news, Luther Burden, who is reportedly expected to miss the entire preseason but should be ready for Week 1, didn't seem to be walking with any limp based on the following video. Like Thomas, Burden didn't take part in the walk-through.
No limp for Luther.

ESPN's Courtney Cronin reported earlier in the day that Thomas is not expected to miss much time and is day-to-day with soreness.
Not so good: List of absences

According to Sean Hammond of the Chicago Tribune, the list of absent players included Coby Bryant, Jaylon Jones, D'Marco Jackson and Luke Newman.
While we knew Bryant, Jones and Jackson were all injured, the fact that they weren't even present for the walk-through isn't a great sign, as even the players on the PUP list and others who have suffered injuries were at least present.
In addition to that, if Newman's absence was injury-related, he is a new member of the walking wounded at Bears training camp.
