Tankathon Watch: 'Battle' of Historic Proportions

In this story:
Las Vegas communicated a real message to the Bears following Sunday's 41-10 loss at Kansas City.
The Bears are opening three-point underdogs at home next week to the Denver Broncos.
And yes, the winless Broncos just lost 70-20 to Miami.
"You take a butt-whupping like that, you find out about everyone,” coach Sean Payton told reporters afterward.
Then it was like a reality version of a tell-all book.
This betting line definitely communicates what Vegas thinks about Matt Eberflus, Justin Fields and the entire operation at Halas Hall.
The defeat set off a full 12 hours of screaming on social media when fans communicated how they felt about Eberflus, GM Ryan Poles, Justin Fields and the team.
They have lost a franchise record 13 straight and have been outscored in their last nine games 295-132. The only time they lost by less than double digits in those nine games was against Philadelphia last Dec. 18, 25-20.

Before the season started, it wasn't entirely apparent but they are entering one of the "softer" portions of their schedule.
Denver is winless. Washington lost 37-3 to Buffalo Sunday but the Bears will need to go on the road for a Thursday night game and the Commanders are 2-1. Then again, the Commanders' loss to Buffalo came at Washington and the two Commanders wins were over Denver and Arizona.
Then the Bears host winless Minnesota and a 1-2 Raiders team.
Next week's Bears-Broncos game will be the first game in NFL history between two teams who combined to allow 110+ points and 1100+ yards the previous week.

Considering the losses suffered by Sean Payton's Broncos and the Bears last week, the matchup Sunday is sure to conjure up plenty of nicknames related to bowl season.

Really, is it too soon to begin talk about the importance of a game in the hunt for the first pick in the draft?
Is it too soon to think about "Tankathon?"
The Bears could actually wind up with the first two picks in the draft considering Carolina is 0-3 and the Bears have the Panthers' pick.

The people at Tankathon.com don't think it's too soon and have the Bears looking good right now, or bad, depending on your viewpoint.
