Chase Claypool Officially an Injury Concern

In this story:
Concern over Chase Claypool's off-season health apparently was warranted.
Claypool has been put on the team's active/physically unable to perform list. The team didn't explain his health situation, but during OTAs and minicamp he was watching practices because of what coach Matt Eberflus hinted was a soft tissue injury.
Active/PUP is for players who, due to football-related injuries, are unable to take part in training camp practices. Players can be taken off the active/PUP list and put on the active roster at any time prior to the start of the regular season, even after one practice.
So, apparently Claypool will be unable to practice when players take the field on Wednesday.
Man idk what’s going on with Claypool but I’m hoping he’s able to play sometime during camp

Claypool was in Florida last weekend working out with Justin Fields, Darnell Mooney and a handful of Bears teammates.
After he missed two weeks of OTAs and one week of minicamp work in the off-season, he was in France modeling and then was involved in youth football camps in Europe before the work he did in Florida.
Claypool came to the Bears last year via trade at midseason with Pittsburgh for a second-round pick, which turned out to be the first pick of Round 2. He made 14 catches in seven games and missed two games entirely due to injury.
The Bears have decisions due on several playuers for contract extensions and Claypool is one of those whose rookie deal expires after this season.
Without Claypool practicing, the Bears would still have Velus Jones Jr., rookie Tyler Scott and veterans Equanimeous St. Brown and Dante Pettis behind DJ Moore and Darnell Mooney in the receiver corps.
So far receiver hasn't exactly been an area of strength for GM Ryan Poles. He signed Byron Pringle last year to one of the bigger free agent contracts they gave out and he made 10 receptions for 135 yards with two TDs in 13 games. They also traded a seventh-round pick for N'Keal Harry and he made seven catches for 116 yards.
Neither Pringle nor Harry are with the team this year.
Some of y’all are trying to run Chase Claypool outta town before he gets to prove himself as a Chicago Bear.
