Winners and Losers From Bengals' 27-24 Overtime Win Over Vikings

Cincinnati is 8-6 following the win.

CINCINNATI — The Bengals rallied to beat the Vikings 27-24 in overtime on Saturday at Paycor Stadium. They're 8-6 on the season following the win. Here are our winners and losers:

Winners

Jake Browning and Zac Taylor

The offense scored 24 points in the fourth quarter and overtime. Browning completed 29-of-42 passes for 324 yards and two touchdowns.

He did throw an ugly interception, but didn't let the mistake snowball. He responded well and the Bengals' offense came alive.

BJ Hill

Hill had an interception for a second-straight game. He had five tackles, one pass defensed and one quarterback hit.

The interception in the red zone was a game changing play late in the second quarter.

Myles Murphy

The rookie was disruptive, finishing with one sack, one quarterback hit, four tackles (one for loss). Murphy has three sacks this season and continues to show signs of growth.

Germaine Pratt

Pratt led the way with 12 tackles. He also had a half sack and one quarterback hit.

Tee Higgins

Higgins struggled early in Saturday's game. He dropped one pass and couldn't hold onto the ball on what would've been a 40-yard gain. It would've put the Bengals in field goal range late in the second quarter.

It was ruled a catch on the field, but overturned by booth review.

So why is Higgins on the winners list? Because he was dominant in the fourth quarter, hauling in four receptions for 61 yards, including an acrobatic 21-yard touchdown where he stretched the ball past the pylon.

Losers

Injuries

I'm not going to put DJ Reader, Ja'Marr Chase or DJ Ivey in the "loser" category, but losing the trio to injuries is tough.

Reader is the heart of Lou Anarumo's defense. He's a run stopper that can also get heat on opposing quarterbacks. Not having him would really hurt a defense that has been inconsistent this season.

Everyone knows how important Chase is on offense. He left in the fourth quarter and didn't return.

Ivey had come on strong in recent weeks as a special teamer and was earning snaps on defense.
