Winners and Losers From Cincinnati Bengals 34-14 Win Over Indianapolis Colts

Cincinnati is 7-6 following the win.

The Bengals beat the Colts 34-14 on Sunday at Paycor Stadium to improve to 7-6 on the season. Here are our winners and losers from the big win:

Winners

Chase Brown

The Bengals running back had another impressive performance against the Colts. Brown finished with three receptions for 80 yards and a touchdown and added 25 rushing yards.

The rookie is certainly earning more and more playing time and has turned into a key player for this Bengals offense.

Jake Browning

Browning looked great against the Jaguars on Monday night and he followed up that play with another good game to beat the Colts.

Browning threw for 275 yards and two touchdowns on Sunday and once again looked very comfortable in this offense. Despite throwing an interception for a touchdown before halftime, he played very well.

The Bengals are in the thick of the playoff race and if Browning keeps playing the way he is they have a reaslistic shot at making the postseason.

Joe Mixon

The Bengals have been getting stellar play from their rookie running back, but Mixon is also playing great football right now. Mixon had over 100 total yards again this week and looks to be in a great duo with the rookie Brown.

Chidobe Awuzie

Following his injury last season, Awuzie has struggled a bit but certainly looked back to his usual form against the Colts. Awuzie had multiple huge 3rd down pass break ups and helped the Bengals contain the Colts to just one touchdown.

DJ Ivey

The rookie cornerback hasn’t had much shine this season but he had a really great performance on Sunday. Ivey had some good moments in coverage including a deep pass break up and also made one of the best plays of the game recovering a fumble on a punt that led to points.

Ivey’s special teams play is helping him earn a roster spot for next season and with Cam Taylor-Britt out, he’s getting a chance on defense as well.

Germaine Pratt

The Bengals linebacker led the team in tackles in their win over the Colts and also pitched in with a half sack and a tackle-for-loss. The Bengals linebackers have struggled a bit this season but getting a game like this from Pratt really helps this defense.

Trey Hendrickson

Hendrickson had a brutal roughing the passer penalty early in the game, but he made up for it big time throughout the rest of the game. Hendrickson had two sacks against the Colts and also had a hit on Gardner Minshew late in the game that led to an interception by BJ Hill.

Losers

Brad Robbins

Robbins didn’t have a horrible performance on Sunday, but he still isn’t getting a lot of distance on his punts. The Bengals could really use more distance on some of these to flip field position and put their defense in a better spot.
