The Burrow family is reportedly exiting their ownership stake in Major League Volleyball. The Cincinnati Business Courier reported the news.

Joe Burrow and his family became investors in the league earlier this decade, and it's since undergone major changes to the leadership structure in the ensuing years, including new ownership for their invest team, the Columbus Fury.

The whole group was excited about the initial investment back in 2023.

The family joined the league as equity partners in 2022.

“We are thrilled to add another layer of involvement in Pro Volleyball Federation with our new role with the Columbus Fury,” Jimmy Burrow said in a 2023 press release. "Robin and I have made Ohio home, and Joe grew up in Ohio, so being able to be a part of Ohio’s Pro Volleyball Federation team is a natural fit for us. We believe in this league and are excited about the future of Pro Volleyball Federation and the Columbus Fury.”

The Burrows held an ownership stake in the Fury, which began playing in 2024, but that's coming to an end.

“I have been watching the growth of the Pro Volleyball Federation since my parents and I joined the League, and it has been very impressive to see,” Burrow said in the release. “It seems like every day, more great news is announced about the league, whether it’s the great players who continue to sign with the League, the outstanding coaches who are involved, or the new ownership groups and markets that are added. I am very proud to be a part of it, and I am now excited to say that my family is involved in the Columbus Fury ownership group.”

The Bengals star may be interested in another fledgling sport after participating in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic last month. His head coach, Zac Taylor, commented on Burrow's participation during the 2026 NFL Spring Meeting this week.

"I pretended like it wasn't happening until it was over," Taylor said on Tuesday. "So thankful we got through it and we're good, and we'll just move forward and get ready for our season now."

All eyes are on the 2026 campaign for Taylor, Burrow, and the Bengals.
