Pittsburgh Steelers Interested in Signing Russell Wilson

In this story:
CINCINNATI — The Steelers are reportedly interested in former Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson according to Gerry Dulac.
Wilson will be released by the Broncos at the start of the new league year and has permission to talk with teams this week.
The Steelers have former first round quarterback Kenny Pickett on their roster.
Wilson completed nearly 67% of his passes for Denver last season, finishing with 26 touchdowns and just eight interceptions. The fit makes a ton of sense.
Pittsburgh finished 10-7 last season, despite not having stability at quarterback. They have a chance to sign a nine-time Pro Bowler that was solid last season.
The AFC North is already the toughest division in the NFL. It may get tougher if Wilson signs with Pittsburgh. The veteran isn't perfect, but the Steelers have a strong culture and they just need competent quarterback play. There's no reason why Wilson couldn't be an upgrade for the Steelers.

Russell Wilson already has a connection with the Steelers. He and his wife, Ciara, a Grammy Award-winning singer, are founding partners and equity owners in Evolution Advisers, a joint venture formed by Acrisure, which owns the naming rights to the stadium.
