Report: Bengals Re-Sign Running Back Trayveon Williams

CINCINNATI — The Bengals are bringing back running back Trayveon Williams on a new deal.

Jeremy Fowler reported the news as Williams should have a chance to capture a bigger role in a morphing running back room.

Williams had 6 carries for 30 yards last season. He was a solid kick returner last season, returning 16 boots for 356 yards (22.25 average). 10 of those returns were for 20-plus yards.

That average would've ranked 10th leaguewide if Williams had enough returns to qualify for the leaderboard.

In his career, Williams has 47 carries for 238 yards (5.1 YPC), to go with 8 catches for 64 yards.

Cincinnati selected him in the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
