Buffalo Soldier: DeAndre Hopkins Teasing Bills Trade with Cryptic Message?

Does DeAndre Hopkins know something we don't? Is a trade with the Buffalo Bills on the horizon?

The hype surrounding DeAndre Hopkins potentially joining the Buffalo Bills is gaining some traction ... and it's all thanks to the man himself.

As trade rumors continue to swirl around the Arizona Cardinals All-Pro receiver - with the Bills continuously being talked about as a potential fit - he posted a interesting and cryptic message to his Instagram story on Wednesday, likely sending a jolt of excitement through the collective heart of Bills Mafia.

In simplistic fashion, Hopkins posted a neat-looking picture of himself in a red vehicle. Nothing to gloss over right?

But attached to his short Instagram story was the song "Buffalo Soldier" by the legendary Bob Marley, and Hopkins made sure the lyrics were visible for all of his 1.6 million followers to see.

Sal Capaccio of WGR 550 in Buffalo captured the screen recording:

Does Hopkins know something we don't? Is a move on the horizon?

Maybe ... or maybe he's teasing everyone, especially since big media names like NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah said Wednesday that Hopkins "belongs with a contender" and listed Buffalo as a potential top landing spot for the star pass-catcher.

"If I'm DeAndre Hopkins and you're looking at where does he fit, where does he want to go, to me I think he belongs with a contender," Jeremiah said Wednesday on NFL Network. "I look at a place like Buffalo."

The Bills have seen first-hand what the All-Pro receiver is capable of.

And with receiver being one of the key areas of improvement for the team this offseason, putting together a trade to acquire the star pass-catcher from the Cardinals could be a deal that keeps the Bills in Super Bowl contention for the foreseeable future. A receiving duo of Stefon Diggs and Hopkins would become arguably the league's best pass-game pairing, especially with Josh Allen at the helm.

But for now, all we have to go off of is cryptic social media messages, which Hopkins may not quite be done with yet.
