Bills Set for Top-30 Draft Visit with Tennessee OT Darnell Wright

The Buffalo Bills could look to improve upfront on the offensive line through the draft, which is why they are bringing Tennessee offensive tackle Darnell Wright in on a visit.

Improving the offensive line has to be one of the priorities for the Buffalo Bills this offseason, as protecting Josh Allen and creating lanes in the running game will be crucial to any future Super Bowl run.

This may explain why the Bills are scheduled to host Tennesee Volunteers offensive tackle Darnell Wright, per reports Thursday from NFL Network.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport shed light on the fact that Wright is currently visiting with the Green Bay Packers before heading to Orchard Park to meet with the Bills. He added that Buffalo will be just one of "nearly 20 stops" for the former Volunteer.

NFL.com gives Wright a 6.38 prospect grade which, per the site's draft measurements, has him set to "eventually be plus starter" since he falls in the 6.3-6.9 range.

Wright started 42 games in his collegiate career, going up against some of the best edge-rushers that the SEC has to offer. Wright's pre-draft process has seen him become a name on the rise, even garnering first-round attention as draft analysts have gone back to watch his tape facing the likes of Alabama's Will Anderson.

In 507 snaps as a pass blocker this season, Wright allowed six quarterbacks hurries and eight pressures with no sacks. Wright played in all 14 games for the Volunteers as the starting right tackle, the same position he'd likely play should Buffalo draft him.

As for where the Bills could select him, it could be as early as No. 27 overall, especially if there is a run on offensive tackles.
