Bills QB Josh Allen Pokes at Aaron Rodgers ‘Win’* at Pebble Beach Golf

"I think Josh Allen and I won,'' says the Pebble Beach playing partner of the Bills QB. "Aaron Rodgers doesn't count. His handicap was crap.''

We just found another reason to dislike the always-dramatic Aaron Rodgers.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback was crowned the winner of the annual Pebble Beach Pro-Am, finishing at 26-under par alongside partner Ben Silverman. A few strokes behind were Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen and partner Keith Mitchell. ...

And Allen and Mitchell are essentially accusing Rodgers of cheating.

“One hundred percent,” Allen said when asked if Rodgers’ win merits an asterisk. “It’s only three rounds and a 2.6 handicap got 10 shots? Come on now. I don’t know. I’m not the person to ask that question. But it is what it is.”

Rodgers said he was aware of Allen's complaint - because Josh said it to Rodgers' face.

“Josh Allen was telling me there’s going to be an asterisk by this win because there was only three rounds,” Rodgers said, per ESPN. “But I think our names are going to be up there (on the Wall of Champions) for a long time.”

How much of this is simply Allen and Rodgers poking fun at one another? How much of it is a good-natured competitive spirit rising up? And how much of it is Team Allen truly believing it got hosed by Team Rodgers?

"I think Josh and I won,'' said Allen partner Mitchell. "Aaron Rodgers doesn't count. His handicap was crap.''
