Patrick Mahomes Dodges Bills Mafia Snowballs, Responds With Bold Chiefs Message

Some fans of the Buffalo Bills - understandably frustrated and angry with the result of Sunday night's playoff visit from the Kansas City Chiefs - responded in an inappropriate manner, trying to pelt Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes with snowballs.
But after the Chiefs defeated the Bills, 27-24, to move on to the AFC Championship Game next Sunday night, when they will take on the Baltimore Ravens, the No. 1 seed in the conference, Mahomes issued a cool response to it all.
"We were here to prove a point,'' Mahomes said. "To show that we can play anywhere.''

Mahomes' Chiefs have been outstanding in his era in K.C.; this marks the sixth straight AFC Championship Game appearance for the defending Super Bowl champs.
As a result of their excellence, they have grown accustomed to playing at home at Arrowhead Stadium, causing some to wonder if they could win at chilly Highmark Stadium.

Mahomes, a two-time NFL MVP, just won his first road start in the playoffs — not counting Super Bowls. And incredibly, he just improved his postseason mark to 13-3.
Mahomes offered postgame praise for Bills Mafia, he clearly wanted the world to know that the Chiefs were trying to stake their claim and prove a point on Sunday night.

The Chiefs did so, and now they will be on the road next week, too, as Baltimore will host the AFC Championship Game.
