Bills FIGHT! Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs & Others Heated at Practice

In this story:
Things are starting to ramp up for the Buffalo Bills at training camp.
Buffalo had one of their chippier practices at training camp, which included a fight between linebacker Tyrel Dodson and offensive lineman Mitch Morse, per multiple reports.
Others involved in some separate heated exchanges included Stefon Diggs with cornerbacks Siran Neal and Taron Johnson, while Josh Allen and Dodson reportedly had some strong words for each other after Dodson and Morse had gotten into it.
Here are a few of the on-sight accounts from reporters that witnessed the chaos:

He and Morse nose to nose after play. Things seemed to calm.
Then ramped up with a helmet swinging. Josh Allen rightly furious at that player.
Dodson came out of the drill hot. Got earful from LB coach Bobby Babich
It was a very intense Bills practice. There was a big melee and at one point someone had a helmet and was swinging it over top of the pile. Josh Allen and Tyrel Dodson (who got into it with Spencer Brown at the start) had a VERY heated exchange when everyone separated.

Stefon Diggs got upset after one pass defended by Siran Neal. They had a small exchange. Later Diggs threw a big block on Taron Johnson who didn’t like it. The two had a long discussion after practice that ended with a hand shake/slap. https://t.co/2ZqTfP9mae

But for Allen, an intense practice is just a part of the process for both sides of the ball.
"We're just working to compete and get better," Allen said. "We want to be great. Sometimes you go through practices like that where both sides want it really badly. Both sides are storming to the ball, just trying to make some plays and you need those practices. That makes your team better."
Bills defensive lineman Boogie Basham echoed Allen's statement about tough practices being expected, especially after an off day.
"It's just all a part of it," Basham said. "We knew we had a hard practice coming up, especially after an off day...You've got to embrace it."
Along with the skirmishes on the field, Allen noted that noted that him and head coach Sean McDermott were throwing verbal jabs at each other during practice. For as heated as practice may have been, the sixth-year quarterback said that nothing goes beyond the football field afterwards.
"It's well understood on this team that everything that happens between the white lines stays within the white lines," Allen said. "We love each other. This is a team that gets along extremely well. Our locker room is fantastic. We spend a lot of time outside of the facility together but at the same time, we're grown men. We want to win. We don't want to give the defense anything and the defense doesn't want to give us anything. I'd be worried if it was the opposite."
Allen added: "It gives us an edge and I think that's something that we need on this team. These practices, they tell you a lot about certain guys and how your team's going to react to certain things."
Buffalo plays its second preseason game on Saturday when they go on the road to face the Pittsburgh Steelers at 6:30 p.m. ET.
