'Tired of Their Talking!' Is Chiefs' Mahomes Insulting Bills on Netflix' 'Quarterback'?

In this story:
The Buffalo Bills and Bills Mafia could, if everyone chooses, opt to take offense to the revelation from Patrick Mahomes that he believes his Kansas City Chiefs "match up'' favorably against the Bills and that Buffalo is inferior to the Cincinnati Bengals.
But when you reflect on the 2022 NFL Playoffs while watching Netflix's new series ‘Quarterback' - and if you are wise enough to include context - Mahomes having revealed that he wanted to play the Bengals over the Bills is not really an insult to the Josh Allen-led AFC East champs at all ...
This is why @Netflix “Quarterback” is so cool to watch. Here is Mahomes at his house after the divisional win over the Jags talking about how he thinks they matchup better vs the #Bills but he wants to play the #bengals because he’s a competitor and is “tired of them talking”. pic.twitter.com/d6bpFoKWCd

It is about Mahomes thinking about the Chiefs and "being tired of them talking'' - "talking'' being shorthand for "trash-talking.''
“I think the Bengals are better, but I think with all those injuries on the O-line that the Bills have a chance,'' Mahomes is shown saying before the three AFC powers began their 2022 postseason collisions. "I mean, I think we match up better versus the Bills, but I want to play the Bengals. I mean, I just want to play them, we haven’t beaten them, and I’m tired of their talking.”
Is this all a collection of comments that will make Bills fans unhappy? It shouldn't. How about "bulletin-board material'' inside Bills HQ? It really shouldn't be that, either. In terms of X's-and-O's study - which Mahomes has done more of than most of the rest of us - thinking the Bengals are "better” than the Bills is a perfectly legit evaluation. And so it his thought that Chiefs matched up better with Buffalo than with Cincy.
Mahomes is of course aware of Bengals players labeling the Chiefs' stadium ‘Burrowhead' (as in QB Joe Burrow) because of Cincy's success there. ... and maybe the most powerful part of this is how badly he wanted to play the Bengals in order to shut them up.
In the end, he was right. The Bengals were better than the Bills. And Mahomes got his wish, recording a win over the Bengals in the AFC title game and then an eventual Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles.
