Overview

Reid is the prototypical athletic tackle that doesn't have ideal strength or power for the NFL. A lack of experience can lead to concerns of breaking down and recognizing pass-rush attack patterns. There will need to be a patient time frame with Reid to improve his technique, but mostly to get him stronger for the NFL. The athleticism is easy to see and can make him work in the NFL if he gets stronger. Teams love athletes on the offensive line.

Fit with Broncos

It has been a while since the Denver Broncos drafted an offensive tackle, and that is expected to change this year. With what Sean Payton likes to do on offense, Reid isn't the best fit. However, he does fit the need for a developmental tackle option.

This is a case of you don't try and force someone into a scheme. Reid is highly enticing, but you still have to have the suitable scheme for him to develop in. Unfortunately, Denver isn't that place.
