Adapt or die.

Every so often, we approach that evolutionary fork in the road to varying degrees, but there comes that fateful moment for all of us when that pivot point has to spark a momentous wave of change.

For Mile High Huddle, that call to action came when, as Publisher, I was faced with a difficult, binary decision. After spending the last 15 months on a different network, the rug was pulled out from beneath my feet and I had to make a decision.

I took a look around the ever-shifting Digital Sports Media landscape and recognized the Maven Coalition as a platform on the rise. After purchasing publishing rights to Sports Illustrated earlier this summer, the Maven is on the ascent.

By partnering with the Maven, Mile High Huddle is on the rise as well. Once again, MHH has a phenomenal network support system in place replete with publishing tools and a massive vision for the future.

I couldn’t be happier to join the Maven. It was the epitome of serendipity that our paths crossed when they did and I’m not going to second-guess that good karma for even a second.

The timing of moving MHH to a new network couldn’t have been better. The Denver Broncos are on the doorstep of another season and are just beginning their slate of five preseason games.

The month of August will be one long exhibition game for the Broncos, and for MHH in a sense, too. This change comes with learning a new platform and mastering the phenomenal tools now at our disposal as analysts and content creators.

The month of August will provide MHH with plenty of time to get up to speed and iron out the kinks just in time for meaningful football. We relish the opportunity.

To the premium (VIP) subscribers we left behind at our previous network, as I’ve said multiple times on social media, this parting does not have to be sweet sorrow. Come join MHH here at the Maven Coalition.

It’s business as usual for MHH when it comes to covering and analyzing the Denver Broncos. We want you to be a part of that, as always. So make yourselves comfortable. Familiarize yourself with our community tab and engage in the conversation on each article we publish.

MHH wouldn’t be here today were it not for the unbelievable support Broncos Country has shown us over the last five football seasons. Your support and passion was the primary force sparking us to move onto bigger and better things.

I’d be remiss to let my awesome staff of writers and analysts go unmentioned. Erick Trickel, Nick Kendell, Carl Dumler, Bob Morris, and Lance Sanderson are the constants at MHH — the very foundation of our site and brand.

I thank each and every one of you for your continued effort and expertise. The same goes for Khalid Alshami, Thomas Hall, Josh Carney and Trevor Judge. Each one of you have played a crucial role in building Mile High Huddle.

I know I speak for everyone at MHH when I say that it’s been a long time since we’ve looked forward to covering a season of Broncos football as much as we do this one. So buckle up, strap in, grab your popcorn and join us on what is sure to be another phenomenal chapter in Mile High Huddle and Denver Broncos history.
