Browns Announce Initial 53-Man Roster
The Cleveland Browns have announced their initial 53-man roster. All NFL teams had to cut their rosters down today by the league's 4 p.m. deadline. Keep in mind that while this is the initial roster, you can expect several subtractions and additions over the next several days.
The Browns are more than likely going to add players to the short term Injury Reserve list that will be able to return this year. This will free up roster spots to resign a veteran player or two who were part of the initial cutdown. Teams will have until noon tomorrow to claim any players from the waiver wire. Based on last year's record the Browns have the 12th spot in regard to priority.
