Mondays after a loss in the NFL can sometimes feel like another loss as team's start to learn the severity of injuries from the day before.

A handful of Browns players dealt injuries during the team's 24-20 loss to the Seahawks, including CB Greg Newsome (groun), rookie RT Dawand Jones (shoulder) and DE Za'Darius Smith. On Monday, head coach Kevin Stefanski kept any potential updates on those key players mum, noting that he'd provide more information on Wednesday.

Cleveland's head man wouldn't even rule out if any of the ailments were considered long-term.

"We'll see," Stefanski said. "It's a bunch of guys that we'll look at and are still getting all the information, but we'll see."

Asked specifically about pass rusher Za'Darius Smith, who had X-rays taken postgame, Stefanski characterized his feeling as "hopeful" that he'll be available next week.

The availability of quarterback Deshaun Watson remains an unknown as well for Cleveland. Recent reports have suggested that the 28-year-old would miss at least one more week to continue resting his injured throwing shoulder. Stefanski wasn't ready to reveal anything in regards to Watson's status just yet.

"I can tell you that he's continuing to come along," stated Stefanski. "We'll make those type of decisions later on in the week."

Over the course of the now six-week saga surrounding Watson's shoulder the team has continually called their top signal caller "day-to-day." Watson hasn't even played a full quarter since suffering the injury back in Week 3. If Watson can't go once again, P.J. Walker would make his third start in four games for the Browns against the Arizona Cardinals. Barring an unforeseen QB trade before tomorrow's trade deadline, of course.
