How to Watch Steelers vs. Buccaneers: Kickoff Time, TV Channel, and Odds

1st Quarter

- The Buccaneers won the coin toss and elected to receive the opening kickoff.

- Deven Thompkins back to receive the kickoff, but the ball sails for a touchback. Bucs ball at their own 25.

- First play of the game is a handoff to Ke'Shawn Vaughn for a gain of four.

- Back-to-back runs of four yards by Vaughn is followed up with a third down run that only nets a gain of one yard.

- Bucs decide to go for it in their own territory on fourth down but are flagged for a false start and now will decide to punt the ball.

- Camarda's punt makes it all the way to the Steelers' 17-yard line where Kenny Pickett and the Pittsburgh offense will take over.

- Kenny Pickett completes his first pass to Dionte Johnson for an 8-yard gain.

- Bucs' Mike Green almost comes away with a sack on Kenny Pickett, but he forces an incompletion to bring up 3rd down.

- The Steelers make their 3rd down count as Pickett finds George Pickens for a 33-yard TD. Pittsburgh Steelers lead the Bucs 7-0.

- Baker Mayfield's first pass as a Buccaneer is complete to Deven Thompkins for a gain of three.

- Trey Palmer gets in on the action as Baker completes a pass of 7 yards for a first down.

- A good run by Ke'Shawn Vaughn will be knocked out as the Bucs are flagged for an illegal formation.

- Penalties really causing the Bucs harm as they are called for holding; forcing a 3rd and 18. The Bucs fail to convert and will once again be forced to punt the ball to the Steelers.

- Nice run by Chase Edmonds that goes for a gain of 8.

- Former Buc, Kwon Alexander, gets flagged for unnecessary roughness and the Bucs get the ball across the 50.

- Baker completes a pass to David Moore to end the quarter. The Pittsburgh Steelers lead the Buccaneers 7-0.

2nd Quarter

- Trey Palmer comes down with a 8-yard fade corner route in the end zone from Baker Mayfield for a TD. Bucs tie the game up at 7.

- Zyon McCollum comes away with an interception on Mitch Trubisky - who was looking for Cody White.

- Baker finds a wide open Geiger for a 19 yard gain to force a third and short.

- The Buccaneers stay on the field on fourth down, but fail to convert as Vaughn is stuffed for a loss. Pittsburgh takes over on downs at the Bucs 47-yard line.

- Rookie Yaya Diaby was down on the field, but walks off under his own power - keep an eye on his status.

- Anthony McFarland takes it in for another Steelers touchdown on a 14-yard scamper. Pittsburgh 14, Buccaneers 7.

- Kyle Trask is now in at quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Baker Mayfield finishes his debut with 63 yards on 8/9 passing and 1 TD.

- Trask has all day in the pocket and finds David Moore sitting in a pocket for a gain of 23-yards.

- Kyle Trask, looking for David Moore, is picked off by Trenton Thompson and the Steelers take over at their own 48-yard line.

- Cam Gill almost comes away with a sack on Mason Rudolph, but forces a punt. The Buccaneers take over at their own 24-yard line.

- Trask takes too long in the pocket and is sacked.

- Kieft drops a sure first down pass from Trask and the Bucs are forced to punt.

- Mason Rudolph with back-to-back passes to move the Steelers into field goal range with 44 seconds remaining. 

- Rudolph is sacked by Cam Gill who completes the process this time around.

- Mason Rudolph takes off for a run of 15 yards and a first down.

- Mason Rudolph downs the ball with two seconds on the clock and the Pittsburgh Steelers add three on a 30-yard FG.

- The Steelers take a 17-7 lead into the half.

3rd Quarter

- Pass interference by Duron Lowe gets the Steelers into Bucs' territory.

- The Steelers put another 3 points on the board on a 43-yard FG by Potter. Steelers lead the Buccaneers 20-7.

- Trask is sacked again and forces a 3rd and long.

- Calvin Austin beats Don Gardner for a 67-yard touchdown from Mason Rudolph. Steelers 27, Buccaneers 7.

- A holding penalty set the Bucs back, but a huge pitch-and-catch between Trask and David Moore moves the Bucs into Steelers territory before a facemask penalty moves them back again.

- Geiger with a nasty move in space after receiving the ball goes for a gain of 23 yards and first down.

- Trask is sacked for the third time tonight on third down and the Buccaneers will punt the ball.

- Kedrick Whitehead Jr. comes away with a third down stop with an open field tackle. The Bucs fair catch the punt and will take over at their own 18.

- John Wolford now in at quarterback for the Buccaneers. Kyle Trask finishes the night 6/10 for 99 yards and 1 interception.

- Wolford's first drive stalls after completing his first pass of the night for 17 yards.

- The Steelers lead the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-7 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

4th Quarter

- Tanner Morgan is picked off by J.J. Russell and the Bucs are in business inside the Steelers 20-yard line.

- Rookie UDFA running back Sean Tucker hits a nice run for a touchdown, but it is brought back due to another holding penalty.

- The Buccaneers are forced to kick a FG. Blankenship comes on drills the 25-yard attempt to bring the Bucs three points closer. Steelers 27, Buccaneers 10.

- Taye Barber takes the end around for a gain of 13 yards.

- Tampa Bay goes for it again on fourth down and once again do not convert as Wolford's pass is incomplete to Taye Barber.

- Kade Warner gets in on the action with a 10-yard first down catch from Wolford.

- Wolford completes a pass to TE Tanner Taula for a gain of 20 yards.

- Wolford threads the needles to TE David Wells for a gain of 22 yards and the Bucs are in Steelers' territory.

- Another first down pass from Wolford, this time to WR Ryan Miller.

- Wolford takes a shot and gets rewarded with a roughing the passer penalty after completing his pass to Brown. The Bucs have the ball first and goal.

- Wolford fits a tight throw to TE Payne Durham for a 4-yard TD. The Buccaneers trail the Steelers 27-17 with just under 2 minutes remaining in the game.

- FINAL SCORE: Steelers 27 Buccaneers 17
