Buccaneers Fans React To Rough Loss Against Lions

In this story:
On Sunday, the Buccaneers had a highly anticipated game against the Detroit Lions. The game was hyped up in many different ways such as the game being flexed to 4:25, the whole stadium wearing creamsicle gear, and the chance to become 4-1.
It is safe to say that Sunday did not go as planned. The Buccaneers were chasing from behind the entire game and struggled to get anything going on offense. On defense, the Buccaneers allowed a couple of long plays including a 45-yard bomb to second-year wide receiver, Jameson Williams.

Just like old times! That was a difficult game to watch…

Tampa is a good team, not a great team. We can compete with a lot of the league, but not the elite teams. We will make the playoffs but get absolutely dominated in the wild card probably.

Well coached teams don’t look like that coming off a bye but then again maybe that’s just who we are when we go against a legit contender cause it was the same thing against Philly

Best thing Tampa can do is fire Todd Bowles. 4th and 2 and he punts the ball away and the Lions kill 7 min off the clock and make it impossible to mount any kind of come back. The coaching is too passive when they need to be aggressive on offense.

I really hate to say this, but? Down two scores with one minute left in the 3rd, and OC calls two straight running plays? I watched this for 4 years and now it's starting all over again. Evans, Godwin, Thompkins, Palmer, Otten and Baker, and your OC coach is calling no gain…

Unfortunately, “we’ll fix it” brings back bad memories from last season when coaching kept saying that or something similar. The team HAS to mean it and prove it this year.

Actually fix it!
Don’t just say it. Words are cheap.
While there were plenty of negative reactions, there were also some positive ones.

Thanks Tampa Bay Bucs- I was very sentimental seeing all the orange and loved the music! But the creamsicles remind me of a time when we lost more than we won. I loved it, but ready to get back to red and pewter 🏴☠️ LFG!

Great effort yesterday guys! It’s hard to beat a team that doesn’t make mistakes! Next week let’s get it!

While there were many negative reactions, there is no need for panic yet. The Buccaneers are still 3-2 and leading the NFC South.
Next week, the Bucs will be hosting the 3-3 Atlanta Falcons and will look to improve their record to 4-2.
The season is still very young so look for the Buccaneers to continue and improve.
