Cardinals Fans React to Preseason Loss vs Chiefs

In this story:
The Arizona Cardinals fell victim to the Kansas City Chiefs in 38-10 fashion on Saturday night - and per usual - fans had some strong opinions following the game.
Patrick Mahomes went 10-15 for 105 yards and one touchdown in the first quarter of action, though his best throw won't even show up on the stat sheet.

Patrick Mahomes has managed to hit 9 different receivers in this game.

Patrick Mahomes out here doing Derek Jeter jump throws an inch from the sideline in preseason games😭😭😭

Isaiah Simmons - still transitioning to his role as a safety, looked... not so great, both in terms of coverage and effort.
Not ready to bury him yet but Isaiah Simmons is struggling again. Looks like he’s on ice skates out there.

I don’t think Isaiah Simmons is going to have a good time with coaches when going over this tape.
— Kyler Burd (@AZCard_BurdsEye) August 20, 2023
Super low-effort and a TD drive almost entirely his fault.
Business decision from Isaiah Simmons.

I get it’s the preseason… but his effort has been questionable on more than one play tonight.
Coaches will see it on tape.
The Cardinals are still finding their footing under new offensive coordinator Drew Petzing, which has featured much more under-center work and has transformed Arizona back to a more traditional offense.
Some things aren't meant to change, however.

That also includes the infamous playing surface at State Farm Stadium:
At the first commercial break, the Chiefs and Cardinals are tied at 0 but I think we all agree that the Eagles would be winning this game right now if the field at the Super Bowl wasn't so bad.

Clayton Tune garnered the attention of fans, and could potentially see more playing time - at least if it were up to the fans.
I'd give Clayton Tune as many starts as possible before Kyler's return. pic.twitter.com/wKfK5B8CQ4

Just start Clayton Tune.
— Johnny Venerable (@JohnnyVenerable) August 20, 2023
Clayton Tune needs to start week one, assuming Kyler is still not healthy. McCoy has not been good, and Tunes improving a lot. Still needs to utilize his eyes to mislead DBs and not look down receivers, but he is better than Colt right now.

I have seen enough.

Clayton Tune needs to be the starter till K1 is back.
Enough is enough.
The Cardinals will have one more game - at the Minnesota Vikings next week - to conclude their preseason activities before the action really counts.
