The Arizona Cardinals went the entire first day of free agency without making any exterior signings.

Nearly halfway through the second day, that now can be put to rest.

The Score's Jordan Schultz is reporting the Cardinals are signing LB Kyzir White to a two-year deal worth a maximum of $11 million.

White rejoins head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis in the desert after previously spending time with them in 2022.

White (set to turn 27-years-old this month) initially entered the league as a fourth-round pick by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2018 NFL Draft. He spent the first four seasons of his career in Los Angeles before singing with the Philadelphia Eagles last offseason.

In Philadelphia's run to the Super Bowl, White tallied 110 combined tackles with 1.5 sacks and seven passes defensed. He was just one of two players in Philadelphia's defense to record triple digit tackles.

White joins an off-ball LB corps that includes Zaven Collins and Isaiah Simmons, though Simmons could work more in the secondary like he was used in 2022 under defensive coordinator Vance Joseph. His role is still undefined.

White becomes the second signing of the new free agency period for the Cardinals after they brought back OT Kelvin Beachum. They lost DE Zach Allen to the Denver Broncos yesterday as well.

White is just the latest member of the Eagles defense to depart, joining LB T.J. Edwards and DT Javon Hargrave.
