Video Released of Cardinals Prospect Jalen Carter's Police Stop

In this story:
The Arizona Cardinals already had a tough enough time deciding what to do with the third overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft thanks to a plethora of talent that will be available for their choosing.
The Cardinals will entertain prospects such as Alabama's Will Anderson, Georgia's Jalen Carter or Texas Tech's Tyree Wilson at the pick - should they choose to stay put. There's plenty of rumors that suggest the Cardinals are intent on trading down to capitalize on a quarterback-needy squad and gain some valuable draft capital to begin the rebuild in Arizona.
The decision also became tougher when news broke of Carter's two misdemeanors back in the state of Georgia at the NFL Combine, which caused him to miss his media availability with reporters. He also did not participate during on-field drills.
That wasn't Carter' first incident involving the law, as he was previously pulled over for going 85 mph in a 45 mph zone. He also was busted for illegal window tint.
Video of that has now been released, with the police officer refusing to take Carter to jail due to the headlines it would create:

The police officer who stopped Carter apparently told him he wasn't taking him to jail because he didn't want to make the news.

This certainly isn't the first or last time that an athlete will be let off due to their status, though the character concerns surrounding Carter heading into Indianapolis certainly didn't quiet down afterwards.
We're less than 50 days away from the 2023 NFL Draft.
